From as far back as the 4th Century BC spreading to the 18th Century AD, mail armor was a prized possession mainly for its functionality but for its masterful composition. This shirt is copied from several different historical pieces in various European museums and is historically accurate to those of the Middle Ages. The outer links measure 7/16" while the inners measure 3/8." This mail is built to last and when well oiled will retain its luster for ages to come. Mail shirts fit up to a 54” chest, 33” long shirt, sleeves are approximately 18” and hang to just below the elbows on average height warriors. Shown in the above image with the Chain Mail Coif.
